Moving & Positive Story from a Minnesota Jail

A few months ago my coworkers and I took a tour of the Dakota County Jail facility where this video was filmed. We visited the facility as part of a potential project to expand college and career exploration information available to incarcerate and ex-offender job seekers.

We met Commander Anderson, featured in this video. And we saw the amazing mural in the jail’s gym. This video highlights some of the positive things that can happen when the corrections system, and the people who work in it, focus on rehabilitation and not just punishment.

My hat goes off to Commander Blair and his staff at the jail.

Keep looking up.
