Kwanzaa is a week-long pan-African celebration of family, community, and culture from December 26 through January 1 each year. Each day of Kwanzaa respects one of seven principles good for people of all cultures to value because they reinforce each of our commitments and contributions to our families and communities.  Living each of these principles can also help you to find career success.

Financial security does not happen by accident.  Neither does having a fulfilling career.  Living a successful life – however you define success – takes planning.  Do you have financial and/or career goals and a solid plan to meet those goals?  Without a plan, a goal is just a wish.

Yes, the economy and the job market play a big role in your employment options.  Nevertheless, you are not a helpless victim of this recession.  Life does not always give you the best cards, but you can play the hand you’re dealt to the best of your ability.
