Make a Difference for Mpls Teens This Week

It’s “Scholarship, Service & Step Week” at the Minneapolis Public Schools. Here are two ways you can help high school students this week:

  1. Bring your Minneapolis high school student to the College Panel Presentation Wednesday April 20.
  2. Be a 100 Strong Who Care volunteer to spend time at Henry or Southwest high schools Tuesday or Thursday. High school students needs to hear from positive adults like you ti give them hope for their futures.

Details for these two events and other activities are on this Scholarship Service Step flyer.

For more information, e-mail the Minneapolis Public Schools’ Office of Equity & Diversity, Equity.Diversity@mpls.k12.mn.us or call or call 612.668.0518.

“We may have different stories, but we hold common hopes;
We may not look the same and we may not  come from the same place,
but we all want to move in the same direction —
towards a better future for our children and our grandchildren.”

President Barack Obama
