DESCRIPTION
Stuck in a job you hate? Not sure how to move into a better position? Or are you looking for more meaning in your work? This online career course is for you if you are underemployed, are thinking about a career change, or just want to upgrade your work life. In six weeks you will explore opportunities that fit your strengths, passions and practical needs. You will also map out possible career roadblocks and detours, and connect with others for your career journey.

Participants in this career course will reflect on their cultural identities and how they influence their career journeys. This course is open to adults of all identities, backgrounds and work histories.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

• Quality Internet access
• Access and ability to engage using Google Meet and related features
• Ability to access and edit Google Workspace documents and MS Office files
• Ability to view and listen to online videos (e.g. YouTube)
• Able to read, speak and understand English (U.S.) 
• Participation in group discussions and completion of class assignments

PAYMENT POLICY

• Access to pay fee is sent after registering for the course:

• Payment in full is due 7 days before the first class session unless other arrangements have been made.
• Cancellations less than 5 days before the course begins will result in a $50 fee. The remaining amount will be sent to you within 2 weeks from receipt of cancellation request.*
• Cancellations must be in writing, email is preferred.
• No cancellations are allowed once the course begins. No refunds.
• If DeniseMpls Career Services cancels the course, a full refund will be granted.
  
  *5% will be deducted from your cancellation or refunds amount to cover fees from online payment platforms
