Description: Finding a job is easy. Finding a better job or the right opportunity that fits your financial, wellness and career goals – that can be hard. This workshop is for anyone who feels like they are underemployed, wants a promotion, is thinking about a career change, or just wants to upgrade their work life. You will explore easy, practical ways to use strengths and skills you already have to make positive changes and move forward in your career. Plus, you can practice your responses to your family, coworkers and your employer when you start to Know Yourself, Be Yourself and Express Yourself.
Facilitator: Denise Felder (she/her; @DeniseMpls) is a Workforce Equity Advocate and award-winning Career Coach dedicated to helping Everyday People make positive choices that impact their lives and communities. Denise has more than 20 years experience encouraging individuals and challenging systems to close opportunity gaps in education and employment.
